FAQ
1) How to choose between a chain-feed tire shredder and a belt-feed tire-type wood crusher?
A: If the material contains nails and molds, choose chain-feed; if the raw material is clean branches and logs, choose belt-feed
2)Can the tire-feed version be directly towed for long-distance road transport? Are any permits required?
A: Conventional towing tire shredders cannot be directly towed for long-distance road travel and cannot obtain the necessary permits
3)Can it operate in muddy forests or steep mountainous terrain?
A: Not suitable for muddy forests or steep mountain slopes
4)Is it prone to material blockage? How to prevent it?
A: Causes of material blockage:
① Large, undivided stacks of formwork being forcibly fed
②Wet wood or materials containing soil adhering to the crushing chamber
③Dulled blades increasing crushing resistance
Preventive measures:
1. Cut and disassemble large formwork pieces in advance; prohibit direct feeding of oversized materials
2. Control the feeding speed of wet materials, feeding intermittently to avoid clogging the screen
3. Clean the feeding chain/belt, crushing chamber, and screen of wood chips after each shift
5) What is the hourly output? What is the fuel consumption?
A: Output is affected by the thickness of the formwork, whether it contains a large number of nails, and whether feeding is continuous. Fuel consumption is related to output, approximately 1L/T
6)Are the tires prone to wear and tear? Are replacement costs high?
