A wood chipper can cut logs, branches, bark, waste veneer, bamboo, cotton stalks, and other non-wood fiber stalks into chips of specific specifications. These chips serve as basic raw materials for particleboard, fiberboard, non-wood engineered wood products, and pulp and paper making. The machine features an advanced structure, high-quality chips, wide adaptability to raw materials, and convenient operation and maintenance. It consists of a base, cutter rollers, upper and lower feed rollers, a conveyor belt, and a hydraulic system.

The base is welded from high-strength steel plates and serves as the supporting foundation for the entire machine. Two fly knives are mounted on the cutter roller, secured with specially manufactured fly knife bolts and pressure blocks. Depending on the thickness of the raw material being cut, the upper feed roller assembly can move up and down within a certain range using the hydraulic system. The cut chips, meeting quality standards, fall through a screen and are discharged at the bottom. Larger chips are further cut within the machine.

Hydraulic system: Oil is supplied to the cylinder by a hand pump, which can start the cover for easy blade replacement. During maintenance, the upper feed roller assembly can be lifted to facilitate adjustment of the gap between the fly knife and the bottom knife, as well as the disassembly and assembly of the comb plate.
