A wood chipper, also known as a timber slicer, is a specialized piece of equipment for producing high-quality wood chips. It can slice various logs such as pine, mixed wood, poplar, and fir, as well as bamboo, into uniform chips. It can also slice various materials including veneer, bamboo branches, corn stalks, cotton stalks, reeds, and other non-wood fiber stalks. Users can adjust the output chip specifications within a certain range according to their needs. This product has a consistent output and high capacity. It is an ideal piece of equipment for the material preparation stages of paper mills, engineered wood products, MDF (medium-density fiberboard) production, and various wood chip production bases. Manufacturers can design and manufacture products of various specifications according to the user's production capacity.

Wood chippers are divided into two main categories: drum-type and disc-type. Drum-type models include the BX215, BX216, and BX2113 series, while disc-type models include the BX850, BX950, and BX1710. Some manufacturers support customized specifications. The equipment mainly consists of a feeding device, a slicing device, a fan device, and a protective device. It uses alloy blades and a cast steel cutter head to ensure wear resistance, and is equipped with a special material spindle and a thickened steel plate body. It features high output, low energy consumption, low noise, and easy maintenance. It supports multiple power options, including electric motors and diesel engines, and the length of the wood chips can be adjusted within the range of 25-35mm.
