The main methods for fineness adjustment include: adjusting the blades axially left and right according to the required fineness; a smaller gap between the inclined blade and the conical surface results in a finer fineness, and vice versa; adjusting the test air cap; increasing the air cap decreases fineness, and vice versa; adjusting the airflow; airflow is inversely proportional to fineness-higher airflow results in lower fineness, and lower airflow results in higher fineness; excessively low airflow can cause powder to spray out of the return nozzle; adjusting the main fan blades; reducing the number of fan blades inside the casing by 2-3 can improve fineness, and this method can also be used to solve the problem of powder spraying from the return nozzle.
Furthermore, depending on the equipment model and material density, the fineness adjustment range of a wood flour mill is typically between 30 and 500 mesh. Some ultrafine milling machines (such as ultrafine wood flour mills and high-fineness wood flour mills) can achieve a fineness of 800-1000 mesh.
